It has a brand value of US $257 billion, up 24 per cent from last year. The statistics reported in ‘Nation Brands 2018’, a report prepared by London-based Brand Finance. 

It has performed better than neighbours India and Pakistan.

 

The country’s brand value has risen by 24% and stands at $257 billion in 2018.

 

The global consultancy farm measures a country’s brand value based on various socio-economic factors and the country’s image and business environment in attracting investment. 

It has secured a better position than last year when it was 44th.

 

Brand America is top of the list with a net worth of US $25,899 billion. China, Germany and England followed respectively. India stood at ninth, worth US $2,159 billion.
