London Bangla Press Club organises special media training in North Engaland

London Bangla Press Club recently organised a training session for journalists and media employees  working in North England.  A number of media personnel took part in this hugely successful training session first time of its kind. The training session took place in Eastern Pavilion in Oldham.  As well as from Oldham, a number of journalists and media personnel from Liverpool, Bradford, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Rochdale, Chester, Aston and Hide took part and benefitted from this workshop.

 

The experienced and skilled facilitators provided subject based training in five sessions.   Former BBC journalist Udoy Shankar Das provided training on Basic Writing for Media and Improve Pronunciation,  President of LBPC Syed Nahas Pasha provided training on Good Reporting for Print Media, Bishwadip Das of Bdnewstwentyfour.com provided training on Online and Mobile journalism, General Secretary of LBPC provided training on  TV Reports: Communities Perspective, Treasurer of the LBPC A S M Masum provided training on Filming and Editing of TV news.

 

The training programme was conducted by Muhammod Jubair where the Training and Research Secretary Ibrahim Khalil delivered the welcoming speech. He expressed his gratitude towards the facilitators and trainees. He also emphasized that LBPC will soon be organising more training sessions in Midlands and in London.

 

Syed Nahas Pasha, in his closing speech, emphasized that there is no alternative of training to acquire fundamental knowledge in journalism.   Journalists who will put more importance in this, the more their skills will increase.  He also said that this training session will enhance the knowledge and skills of London Bangla Press Club members.  It has started with the members of North England and will extend across the UK.
