Indian HC reopens library at IGCC

The library of the High Commission of India in Dhaka has been reopened at Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in Dhanmondi recently.

The library has books on various subjects and disciplines to garner to taste of one and all — from history and literature to children and fiction books, said a press release on Wednesday.

Apart from English ones, the library has a magnificent collection of Hindi and Bengali books. Reference books like encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks and handbooks are also available.

The library holds a good collection of books on many great figures and personalities of India — from Mahatma Gandhi to Rabindranath Tagore.

An up-to-date repository of magazines from India is also available in the library which is open for all from Saturday to Thursday from 11am to 7pm, the release said.
