The government has appointed new deputy commissioners in 22 districts including Dhaka, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Rangpur.
Of them, three DCs have been transferred.
The public administration ministry on Sunday issued a gazette notification in this regard.
The deputy commissioner of Narsingdi Subhas Chandra Biswas has been transferred to Mymensingh, Thakurgaon DC Abdul Awal to Jessore and Kurigram DC Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan to Dhaka.
Sylhet City Corporation chief executive Enamul Habib has been appointed as DC of Rangpur, Jessore local government deputy director Majedur Rahman Khan to Chandpur, local government division deputy secretary Abul Fazal Mir to Comilla.
Gazipur City Corporation secretary Aslam Hossain has been appointed DC to Bandarban, deputy secretary attached to the cabinet division Moin Ul Islam to Netrakona, deputy secretary attached to economic relations division Mohammad Iftekhar Hossain to Satkhira, public administration ministry deputy secretary Kazi Abu Taher to Shariatpur, Faridpur local government division deputy director Noyeem Muhammad Abdus Chhobur to Dinajpur, deputy secretary to public security division Mohammad Ilias Hossain to Chittagong, public administration ministry deputy secretary Numery Jaman to Sylhet, textile and jute minister’s personal secretary Md Akhtaruzzaman to Thakurgaon.
Dhaka South City Corporation regional executive officer AKM Mamunur Rashid has been appointed as DC to Rangamati, deputy secretary attached to public security division Saroj Kumar Nath to Jhenaidah, deputy secretary attached to the public administration ministry Mohammad Masud Alam Siddique to Bhola, Lalmonirhat local government division deputy director Mst Sultana Parveen to Kurigram, deputy secretary attached to the public administration ministry Syeda Farhana Kaunayeen to Narsingdi, power division deputy secretary Mahmudul Kabir Murad to Habiganj and Dhaka Cantonment Board executive officer SM Abdul Kader to Rajshahi.
