Biman cancels one more hajj flight

Biman Bangladesh Airlines cancelled a hajj flight scheduled for Jeddah city of Saudi Arabia Sunday (August 13).

The flight—BG-9029–were scheduled to leave here at 02:05pm.

Biman spokesperson Shakil Meraj said that the suspended flight was an additional one for the hajj pilgrims.

The flight was halted due to passenger shortage, he added.

While taking to , he expressed anxieties over repeated flight cancellations.

However, Biman so far have cancelled total 22 dedicated hajj flights till Sunday.

Consequently, hajj pilgrims have expressed utter dissatisfaction over large-scale flight cancellations this time.
