The probe body formed over the incident of Shahbagh that led to the loss of eyes of Titumir college student Siddiqur Rahman in police action submitted its report on Monday (August 07).
They submitted the report to commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Asaduzzaman Mia at noon at the DMP office.

The probe body recommended of taking action against seven cops as Siddiqur’s eyes were damaged and several other students were injured following firing of tear-shell of the cops.
Siddiqur is now under treatment in a hospital in India.
On July 20, students of seven colleges of the Dhaka, which were affiliated to the Dhaka University, were demonstrating in city’s Shahbagh to press for their seven-point demand that included announcement of their exam dates.
A clash took place between the students and the police. Siddiqur’s two eyes were damaged during the clash.
