Former Chhatra League’s activist’s Iftar

An Iftar was hosted by former Chhatra League’s activists now residing in the UK on 12 June at Café Grill restaurant, Brick Lane, Banglatown.
Prior to Iftar a brief discussion was held chaired by former student leader Rafique Ullah and conducted by Mujibur Rahman Jashim.

They said historical Chhatra League inspired by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has been working for six decades towards building Sonar Bangla with education, devotion to work and patriotism since its formation on 4 January 1948 by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Bangladesh Chhatra League will build a prosperous future like its golden past. That’s why every BCL activist has been making the highest contribution in the field of intellectual and labour, in the effort to build a digital Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Chief guest at the Iftar was UK Awami Leagues’ President Sultan Shariff. Other guests who spoke were UK Awami League’s Secretary Syed Faruk, Monir Hussain, Suzat Mansur, Shah Shamim Ahmed, A S M Misbah, Kawsar Ahmed Chowdhury, Syed Tauhid Fitrat Hussain, Syed Ahmed Shad, Ahmed Hassan, Dewan Kamal, Babul Khan, Aminul Haq Jilu and Mahmud Ali amongst others.
