Bishwanath Aid UK organised Iftar Mahfil and felicitation meeting

Bishwanath Aid UK  organised an Iftar Mahfil and felicitation meeting for its Vice-president and Deputy Speaker Cllr Ayas Miah at a restaurant in East London.

President of the organisation Misbah Uddin presided over the meeting and General Secretary Abul Hasanat conducted it where Rushanara Ali Mp attended as Chief Guest.

Special guests who addressed the audience included Deputy Mayor of Tower Hamlets Cllr Sirajul Islam, community leader Abul Kalam Azad, President of Bishwanath Union Welfare Trust Alhaj Toimus Ali, Director of BBCCI Monir Ahmed, Treasurer of Bishwanath Education Trust Ajam Khan, President of Bangladeshi Parents Governor Shahnur Khan, former Professor of Shahjalal University Dr Mujibur Rahman, Professor Sirajul Islam, Afsor Miah, Rahmat Ali, Abdul Hannan, Md Sobhan Ali, Wahid Ali, former Vice-chairman of Bishwanath Upozila Parishad Gous Khan, former General Secretary of Bishwanath Education Trust Najrul Islam, Gulzar Ahmed Khan, Emdadur Rahman, Ishaq Ali, Hafeez Hossain Ahmed, Monir Ali, Akhlaqur Rahman, Kamal Uddin, Dudu Miah, Modris Ali Mofjul, Shah Sohel, Aklus Miah, KadarAli, Modris Alim Fazlu, Dowlot Hossain, Toiubur Rahman, Abdus Sobhan,  Ajir Uddin, Maolana Nasir  Uddin, Hamdu Miah, Abdul Hamid, Sheikh Modabbir Hossain Madhu, Abul Hossain, Habibur Rahman, Amir Uddin, Afjal Hossain, Heven Khan, Siddiqur Rahman, Mahfujur Rahman, Sirajul Islam and others.

President of Bishwanath Aid UK Khalid Khan, Vice-president Abdur Rahim Ranju and trustee Bokhtiar Khan gave the welcoming speech.  Former General Secretary Abdul Basit Rafi, former Treasurer Mohammod Sobhan, Trustee Farukh Miah and others were present at the event.

At the end of the event a fund was collected for the victims of Sunamganj victims.  There was immediate commitment of one thousand pounds at the event.  The speakers praised highly of the organisaiton.
