Four Bangladesh nationals and two others have been killed in a fire at a factory in Saudi Arabia.
Expatriates Welfare Secretary Khandaker Md Iftekhar Haider said the fire originated at a sofa-manufacturing factory in Dammam on Monday morning local time.
The reason of the fire could not be known immediately.
Bangladesh embassy officials went to the scene.
Secretary Haider identified the victims as Meer Rahman of Feni, Abu Musa and Ziaur Rahman of Comilla and Abu Molla of Chandpur.
“We’ll run DNA tests to determine their identities as their charred bodies are beyond recognition,” he told bdnews24.com.
